引言圖片-快又有效!幫你長高的 攝影App 「Spring」就某方面來說,「照片會騙人」已經不是什麼新聞了,可能是過度修圖美化,或用了自拍神器,使得照片與本人落差極大,看照片可能連爸媽都不認得自己(誤)。不過愛美是人的天性,市場上總有這個需求,一款名為「Spring」的App,能夠幫你修正身材比例,人人都可以有180!雖然現實無法改變,但也算是圓了一些人的夢想吧(笑)。

想要有雙修長的腿、高挑的身材,在拍照的時候我們都知道可以利用廣角鏡頭的特性來達成此一目的,不過現在有款App可以更快速滿足你的需求。「讓你看起來更性感」、「讓你看起來像個模特兒」,就如同它的宣傳口號, Kim Taewan設計的這款「Spring」,可以改變人像照片的身形比例,讓你或你的朋友有雙修長的腿,如果覺得自己不夠高,就用這款攝影App過過乾癮吧!但可以預期的是,在你對人像的高度動手腳時,不可避免的背景也會受到影響,如果背景的景物較為複雜,看起來可能就會有些違和感,這是使用上比較需要注意的。

操作上其實很簡單,可以直接新拍一張照片作調整,或是從圖庫中找現有的素材。而調整的關鍵它是從人的腳踝、臀部和肩膀下手,有三條參考線先設定你想要的身形比例,接著再一口氣將照片整個拉長,你的人看起來就會變高了喔!套句廣告台詞就是:「快又有效!」

K2 峰(又稱喬戈裡峰),是地球上海拔第二高的山峰。1954 年,意大利探險家裡諾‧雷斯德里和阿奇裡‧科帕哥諾尼首先登頂 K2,而兩位先鋒當時穿著的正是在 Lionel Terray 嚴苛標準下生產的 MONCLER 羽絨服。60 年後,K2 登頂的壯舉再次被覆制。巴基斯坦和意大利兩國登山者組成的「K2 60 週年」登山隊在 7 月 22 日向 K2 進發,並在 7 月 26 日成功登頂。與 60 年前一樣,MONCLER 為這支聯合登山隊提供最先進的防寒裝備,擁有 6 層高效防護的羽絨夾克,讓隊員們在嚴峻的環境條件下仍能保持行動自如。











MONCLER 贊助的這支登山隊從 6 月中旬就參與了喀喇崑崙山的清潔活動,為 K2 大本營運出 40 多噸廢物垃圾,並在冰川上安置了 12 座廁所。同時,這個項目培訓出 70 名高山挑夫,其中有 30 多名擅長山地救援,撰寫了 200 頁的徒步旅行指南。對於以後的登山者來說,提供了極其寶貴的經驗和人力資源。

The past few weeks have been filled with indoor bouldering because the fault weather often knock on my door on my day off, sucks. Today I have a chance to visit Black Crag near Mt. Nicololson on Hong Kong Island, or more commonly known as Black Link (locally speaking)

To access is fairly easy. Take the MTR to Causeway Bay station, then a taxi ride around HKD50 will get you to the end of Black Link Road and save at least 2km walking in case you start from the gas station. Then you have to follow the description from the guidebook, though the entrance looks a bit dubious. When the four of us arrived at the crag, the rain from yesterday and morning dampness was still hanging the crag a little. But with such a blazing sun and burning heat, it dried pretty quick.

The blazing sun continued to hit the wall, it went from damp to roasting and dry, so I bumbled up Le Rose Noir (F5) feeling a little hot. There were two screws protruding out between the second to the third bolt, which could be hazardous if you fell and unfortunately hit it. Somehow I found the traverse move at the headwall is more than this grade, I managed to crimp the small dent on the headwall and reached the wet sidepull on the left. It could be a pity if you are short or shorter...?

We took turns on easier routes to speed up the warm up section. So we climbed Black and Tans (F5), which is a classic trad climbing route and probably the best I have ever climbed. I guess my trad climbing teacher will be delighted to see this route. Later on, Rex Chu kicked off with Bright Black Morning Light (F 6a), which is yet another classic route of this crag. Then after I managed to on-sight this route, I think the key here is to be tall enough to do a rock-over move, the rest are some easy climb.

Sadly, The Missing Link (F 7b) was still wet on the crux so we opted for the second difficult one, the Black Blast (F 6c). The hand and foot holds are well eroded and falling apart at the start. As the guidebook said so, it is quite a boulder-like route. Then after a good tricky section I figured out the sequence and finally red point it after like 5 attempts. I think I have the knack now.

After Rex and Jimmy have left, me and James stayed for two more hours or so, we decided to explore the left side crag and so we did. The Linked In (F 5), which again a fun, easy and interesting route on this crag. I was aware of the 3 stars route called Black is Back (F 6b), with 22m height so it seems like a good finish for the day. However, we were running out of time but still I wanna send it.

I went up, expecting to quickly come back. At the start, which is an overhang, the holds above looked quite positive so I managed to pass it. What I did is a mantle move and it worked! Then the middle section is some easier ground which you may forget to clip-in. The crux is on the headwall, required trust on your feet and meticulous movements overall. When I arrived at the anchor and turnaround, what an amazing view in front of me, which really made my day. And by the time it was only 6 pm, sun was still strong, summer is definitely here.

At first glance, bouldering is like sport climbing or traditional climbing, for me is more like to make me stronger and be able to climb harder routes outdoor.

I have been climbing for almost 4 years. First I was practicing free soloing at some remote stream crags and waterfalls (both wet or dry). Despite I have sweaty palms, it doesn't bother me much while climbing. Then I started to learn the basic sport climbing techniques, rope works and etc. Climbing started to become the most consistent activity in my life. Whenever I can, I will put myself in the climbing gym and climb until I am exhaust. It is pretty much like my guiding force which led me through my first steps adult life. Looking back, when I was still in the University, I was very thin, have no muscle in my body and merely able to finish 20 push up in a row. Now I am surprised by myself indeed, just how much you can change your body.

Recalling my memories of my very first bouldering experience, it happened in Gonature climbing gym (was burned down, but now renovated) with my climbing buddy. Now these great explorations, rock trips, bouldering trips has expended to the globe, whether it was two years ago bouldering in Konstantz, Germany and the latest discovery in Hong Kong.

Bouldering in Hong Kong has been in bloom, which mainly contributed by the star-athletes effect with big names like Adam Ondra, Chris Sharma, Dave Graham, and Anna Stohr and Kim Jain. And thank to Youtube, we can watch it all at home. Bouldering gyms and indoor climbing walls are available when outdoor climbing is not permitted. Over the years, I would say the game of bouldering took priority over my roped climbing, mainly because my shift working pattern makes it hard to find a climbing partner. So I am also happy to throw myself in the gym and focus on pure climbing. Meanwhile, what also inspired me most was to create new boulder problems and find new boulder, which has remained the motivation for me today.

And yet, bouldering is very goal-orientated, unlike route climbing, where the cruxs can be very high up and hard to be replicated at the gym. If the start or crux of a boulder problem is low enough, you can just try as many time as you can in order to link the movement and finally finish the problem. In the climbing gym, I can also train specifically for technique, power, endurance, flexibility, boldness etc...It is so diverse that I would expected to find new things and learn new moves based on different social or natural environment. Also one of the greatest things is meeting new friends and try hard to finish a problem together.

For me, sometimes I have the fear of falling while climbing long route (well, not so much on high ball, but it depends...). So, in the way I would prefer bouldering. There is a climber, a rock, and their interaction. I only need my climbing shoes, chalk bag and several crash pads, that is. More specifically, as a geologist, when I look at a rock or a boulder, I instantly read the features and patterns of a rock better than other folks do. Which is a fantastic way to realize and aware the diversity of the mother nature and learning how to respect it.

MUJI 近日陸續在 Android 和 iOS 應用商城上架自己的新 App「MUJI to Sleep」,這是一個通過提供定時播放的背景音效來幫助使用者入眠的應用,它提供了大海、鳥叫、篝火、山澗、森林、瀑布 6 種場景供選,這些場景的音效都是來自日本各地的大自然真實的聲音。MUJI 希望能通過這些音效,幫助使用者「在飛機或者車上、公司或者學校裡這些嘈雜的環境中都能舒服地小憩一下」。






MUJI 還有一段視頻來……讓人感受美好的睡眠(幾乎都沒怎麼講 App 的事情,以及……看著看著就想睡著了……)

實際上,MUJI 推出這項應用也是為了搭配宣傳自家的靠枕(就是第一張圖上的那個。其實這個靠枕已經是不少人的心頭好,公司環境或者旅行途中經常看得到)。將一個體貼的應用和自己的產品關聯起來,在潛移默化當中給顧客更棒的心理暗示,過去 MUJI 還推出過日曆、筆記等應用,也都分別關聯著自己的實物產品。讓我們一邊用著或有趣或實用的應用,一邊感受並認同品牌所倡導的生活方式(同為日系企業的優衣庫也很擅長做 App)。
